Inspired by the legendary "Khukri" – the razor-sharp dagger wielded by the fearless Gurkhas, a symbol of Nepalese pride, courage, and indomitable spirit – Coronation Khukri Rum was created in 1974 to honour a momentous occasion: the coronation of the Late King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev.
Crafted with reverence and tradition, the very first bottle was presented to His Majesty as a tribute to his reign, a gesture of deep respect and honour.
More than just a spirit, Coronation Khukri Rum is a celebration of Nepal's rich tapestry of culture, heritage, and timeless traditions, capturing the soul of the nation in every sip. It stands as a testament to the bravery and pride that defines the heart of Nepal.
